Number 30: Acid Golem vs. Number 17: Leviathan Dragon

So this has been a long disputed topic. Who should you choose as a rank 3 XYZ to put in your extra deck, Acid Golem, or Leviathan Dragon? I personally go for Acid Golem for its ability to become both a 3000 beater and wall, but many others tend to go for Leviathan Dragon.

At least twice today, people could've gone for Acid Golem and had game, but no, apparently leviathan is the staple, so it's better. I beat Lightsworns after they overextended but went with Leviathan over Acid Golem, when i survived with 200 lp

i go with number 17 it rarley happens that you only need 500 more damage to to win the game btw it depends on the deck your using if you use dino rabbits like i do that monster kills you cause rabbits dont have lv 5 or higher monsters the only one is gorz and no one tribute summons him so cant tribute him and should pay 2000 each turn

Leviathan is the better option usually because it can dump your Tour Guides if you need a target for BLS or Dark World Gate and it doesn't burn you and it's a 2500 beat-stick that only needs a Normal Summon. But Acid Golem is only good for those Final Pushes and if need be getting rid of big monsters that you otherwise couldn't swing over. But for people saying that Acid Golem is a better wall, if you want to wall go into Zenmaines, the best wall in the game right now by far.

What Milenko says is right, all the opp has to do is wall ur golemn and without caius etc you would have an obv lose. However it is a good choice in the late game
